What can you knit with one ball of yarn?

All of my knitting patterns are currently pitched as 'quick' or 'weekend knits' and because I use chunky yarn you can start to see your project grow very quickly. Just to add this doesn't mean you have to knit it fast, sometimes having something that can slowly grow (quickly) is a perfect project to sit alongside other things.

I have a few patterns that use one ball of chunky yarn (or less) which I've included below:

The chunky knitted headbands:

This pattern is the perfect quick-make using knit and purl stitches. Both headbands are included in the pattern and are made up of rows of knit and purl stitches which gives them a gorgeous texture and will keep your head and ears toasty and warm! Worked in the round there is no seaming.

The XOXO cable headband:

Practice cable knitting with this chunky cabled 'xoxo' headband. Will keep your head and ears toasty and warm!

Cable plait headband:

Another project to practice cabling but with an easy plait design.

Moss stitch headband:

Get to grips with moss stitch with this headband knitted in the round. Moss stitch is one of my favourite stitches to create a lovely texture!

Fingerless mitts:

This knitting pattern gives instructions for a pair of fingerless mitts - either in moss stitch or a plain stocking stitch design. It is the perfect weekend make for a knitter familiar with the basic cast-on, cast-off and knit and purl stitches.
